47: Discussing "There's No Such Thing as Ghosts?" with Director Aaron Daniel Annas
Update: 2020-08-18
Description
Deedee and Aaron Daniel "A.D." Annas met where Deedee seems to meet all the coolest people: Haunted Hour on Twitter. Five years ago she met A.D., a.k.a. @ThinkHaunted, when he was just beginning to make his film, There's No Such Thing as Ghosts?
They recently reconnected and that's when Deedee learned his documentary was not only finished but recently released on Amazon Prime. She immediately told the other ghouls she'd like to schedule A.D. as a guest, and of course they enthusiastically agreed that sounded great. They also all had to watch A.D.'s doc, which they also unanimously agreed was amazing. In fact, Court was so impressed she felt compelled to write a review about it for Haunt Jaunts.
A.D. went to great lengths to present paranormal viewpoints from a variety of people, including skeptics, believers, investigators, non-believers, psychics, and more.
There's No Such Thing as Ghosts? features two well-known haunted places, the Hinsdale House in Hinsdale, New York, and the Knickerbocker Hotel in Linesville, Pennsylvania. It also features a couple of private residencies and the activity found there and how the people who lived there reconciled it --or not.
A.D. also shared an exclusive tale from the Hinsdale House that he hadn't previously divulged before. Listen to it around the 24 or 25-ish minute mark.
Haunt Mess Haunted Headlines of the Week
A.D. was a great sport and participated in picking the Haunt Mess Haunted Headline of the week.
Did he pick the one about the toddler and the spooky woman coming to his bed? The niece who tries to raise her toys from the dead? Or the theory that Ash and Pokemon are really ghosts because they haven't aged?

What Makes This Episode Messy
Well, not a whole lot was messy this episode. A.D. was a lovely, interesting, engrossing guest and the ghouls were all on their best behavior.
